Project R.E.D. Paint, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit advancing Respect, Equity, and Diversity for people and communities impacted by HIV, health inequities, stigma, and barriers to belonging. Through education, peer support, leadership development, advocacy, and community-centered partnerships, we help people build resilience, access vital resources, and turn lived experience into lasting change.

Our work centers the dignity, voice, and lived experience of people impacted by HIV and LGBTQIA+ communities. We create affirming spaces where participants can strengthen coping skills, connect with peers, grow as leaders, challenge stigma, and find practical pathways to care, opportunity, and community.

We combine trusted relationships, culturally responsive education, and community advocacy to address both immediate needs and the systems that shape health and well-being. A Letter from Our Founder
Dear Friends, Community Members, and Supporters,
Project R.E.D. Paint began with a World AIDS Day photo shoot in 2017—a creative gathering rooted in visibility, connection, and the belief that every person deserves to be seen with dignity. That moment became the beginning of a larger vision.
Project R.E.D. Paint, Inc. was officially incorporated on October 18, 2018. Our name reflects the values that guide us: Respect, Equity, and Diversity. On August 19, 2024, we relaunched with renewed purpose and a commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for education, community connection, advocacy, leadership, and healing.
Our work continues to grow through community events, conference sponsorships, partnerships, public-health collaboration, and spaces where people can share their experiences and build one another up. We are especially committed to supporting communities impacted by HIV and ensuring that lived experience remains part of the conversations that shape health and social programs.
As the founder, I believe lasting change begins with listening, showing up, and making room for people to lead. Project R.E.D. Paint is not defined by one event or one program. We are a developing community-centered organization committed to learning, responding, and building with the people we serve.
